What do I have?

A couple of months ago I bought a 91 Prelude Si VTEC with a 2.05 displacement. Is this model of Prelude the highest possible for that year?
Also I there was a big yellow plastic CAI that I think is a Wasp? Is there an air intake by that name? How much do they cost new? It's an eyesore. When I get my engine rebuilt, I'm getting a stock intake put back on if anyone might be interested in it cheap.
P.S. It's an automatic so I know it's not the ultimate for this model, but as close as possible?

The biggest engine and most HP for that year. I think there was a 4WS version for that year also. It's not a VTEC though, unless someone did a swap.

You think that someone swapped out a manual for the automatic, cuz the gearshift and panel look stock as well as the VTEC logo on the sides of the car.

My guess is that the previous owner put the stickers on the car - VTEC Preludes weren't made until mid-4th gen.

After closer inspection, I concluded that the "VTEC Tuning" decals on the sides are more than likely not a factory application. They are puffed up plastic with a think adhesive backing. Whatdoya think?

Thx for all the help. Now I know not to tell people & professionals that it's a VTEC. I didn't know that the VTECs didn't come out until mid 4th gen.

LOL there are a million stories on the internet about guys who have seen that sticker on Mustangs, Camaros, Nissans...just about every car imagineable. They sell them at auto parts stores like "Autozone" or "Kragen".
