1997 Sebring coupe transmission problem, help pls !!!

97 sebring starts runs and drives but doesnt go into 2nd gear, reverse works, the transmission was replaced, and it does the same thing as the other one.

I am thinking that it could be somthing electrical related. If anyone has experience such a problem before and is willing to share I would be very thankful.
