What happened to the Caliber SRT-4

I read an article about Dodge debuting an SRT Caliber for 2007, and I haven't heard or read anything more about it. Does anyone know what happened to this idea or if its even still being considered? Looks like a bad ass and would probably do as well the Neon SRT-4.

I dunno either. They said it was to be out last fall. My guess it has to do with the EPA or something. It's nice for us srt4 owners that want to sell their cars though. It's helped to keep the residual value up.

Yes the SRT version is coming out. I work at a dodge dealer in Spokane WA and we are getting 3 of them to start off in 2 months.

I think it is dumb that they wait an entire year to release it. Many people, such as myself, got tired of waiting.
