cutlass supreme cranks but wont start, HELP PLEASE

I just bought a 95 cutlass supreme 3.1 L 6cyl. The guy that we got it from said the motor was seized but it will turn over but not start. I dont know what is wrong with it. He said when it stopped running there was no symptoms it just died on the way home. he replaced the battery and starter and still nothing. I would like any suggestions on things to try, I dont want to have to replace the engine it has 100,000 miles on it. It did not leak any fluid when it stoped working. I dont know what else you need to know to help so if you need info ask. Thanks.

Does the engine crank over on the starter, can you turn it by hand using a wrench on the crank pulley bolt, if so it it is not seized. First he said it was seized but then he says it will turn over? If it cranks, check fuel pressure at the rail, check for spark, see if it starts spraying carb cleaner into the intake.

It sounds a little fishy, first the engine is seized then it turns over but will not start. If you bought it thinking the engine was seized then you should have figured you were looking at engine replacement from the get go. Since the engine turns over you need to make sure you are getting spark an fuel. As mentioned previously, try spraying carb cleaner in the intake while cranking and see if it fires.
