Driftcar S13

Hi everyone!

That's my newest project. It's Aoshima Nissan Silvia S13 with SR20DET engine. I'm making it for driftar, which means I make rollcage, body-kit, and turbo for engine.

I'll paint it for Tamiya TS-8 Italian Red. I'll add new A'pexi muffler tip, and new rimms.

I stardted the interior. I've cut rear seats, and i'm making attachment for rollcage.

Where did you get those seatbelts?

I like the way this one is coming along. Its going to look very nice.

www.ww-model.pl :) It cost 23 polish zloty which mean it's 8 US Dollars.

Nice progress, and nice set of details. Becareful with the seatbelts as they are painted, so when you bend them they sometimes chip. Maybe a flat or semi gloss clear will help a little. Keep us posted.

I made rollcage, and seatbelts. Now i must give decals on seat, and seat will be done. :)

that roll cage looks fantastic, as does the seat with the belts. I might suggest using brass rod rather than tubing next time though. tubing is WAY to hard to get those small radius bends without kinking it.

Usually not my preferred subject, but given the amount of skill and work on this, I can't wait to see the next update!

The rear's looking really good so far! I think this things going to turn out awesome! Looks like you build almost as slow as I do though. Well...... actually your probably a lot faster than I am!:lol:

What sort of putty do you use on the side skirt?

Looks great, looking forward to seeing the front.

I'm using Novol putty. :) It's Polish putty, and it cost 8PLN for 750g with hardener. It's 3$. :)

Nice progress, i gotta say the engine head seems to have too thick of a coat of paint on it. The body work is very well done, keep us posted.

Wow that looks fairly nice, i like what you have done! When i first read the thread i was a bit mmm but now that its painted it looks nice!

That's Tamiya Italian Red. :) It only looks like orange, because the photos aren't best quality.

That's looking great!!! The body work, paint and c/f turned out very nice! Still looks to me like it's sitting a little high, but other than that it looks awesome.

Hello there,I like you build and the images of how you did the inside near the rear now I know how to make it look on the inside of a S13 thank you for the images. Yes it looks some what red-Orange or brick-red still looks good keep up the good work. (and thanks agine) {my project car a Fujimi S13}
