Mastodon Tour

Mastodon is on tour, go check 'em out! I'm gonna be going to the Roseland Ballroom in NYC May 17th, can't wait. Some Indie rock band "Cursive" is opening, unfortunately, some of you guys are lucky to have prog-rock band Priestess open instead.

i saw them about a month ago with priestess and converge. priestess was pretty cool but converge sucked, they had energy and the pit was good but their music was noise. mastodon was awesome though.

yeah, Priestess is a pretty cool band, i'd have loved to see them open for Mastodon... instead i gotta sit through Indie/Pop-Punk bands... Damn, i think the only good opening act for a big band i've seen is Isis opening for Tool, and I unfortunately missed most of their set.
Whatever, i'll be 21 by then, i'll just chill at the bar til the real show starts

I think Blood Mountain is their best album yet, wish I had the money to catch their show. Cursive is about as pussy a band as you can get.

I really like Blood Mountain, that song "Bladecatcher" is great! Still, i'd say my favorite was Leviathan, Hearts Alive is SO fun to play on guitar

You know, i was debating whether to see Megadeth/Heaven & Hell or to see Porcupine Tree (same day)... then i got some sense knocked into me, and am going to see Dio play on a rainbow. Besides, Porcupine Tree will be back.

Mastodon
and MAYBE Anal Cunt on saturday.

Saw Mastodon for the first time at the 9:30 Club in DC last tour.
AMAZING. Didn't wear earplugs either. ROCK!:evillol:

Really like Blood Mount. but need to get a hold of their previous work.
