Removing the silencer..

Is there a proper way to remove the silencer from my 92 talon?, i've read the section on vfaq.com but they don't list any steps. Anyone know what i'm talking about? i dont want to break anything.:frown: Thanks.

no i meant the silencer inside the air filter/MAF not an exhaust silencer sorry

Isn't that the honeycombs? That's not recommended to remove because should something like debris go in there you can screw something up royally.

Your gonna see virtually no gain from doing it... Its really not worth the problems it can end up causing. :2cents:

Its not gonna make it any louder than if your already running an open element filter on it...

get hard Intercooler pipes, then it will be PLEANTY loud!
