B&M Shiftplus stopped working.....

Hey all,

I just got my shiftplus about week ago, installed it and has worked great until now, it has stopped working.....my connections are good, and i ran the wire through the firewall behind the brake pedal, which is the best place to. How do you undo the little blue clips so i can resplice it...? Or if someone knows whats wrong?

those wire taps that come with it suck, i removed them on mine as it was causing it to work intermittatly, i just soldered the wires together.

There should be a clip you can pry up to unhook the wire tap, then just make the small slice in the transmission wires bigger and wrap the B&M wires around it and solder.. then wrap in electrical tape.. looks and works much better.

Yup, connection issue thats all, check it to see if anything is not touching...

Awesome, i jsut wiggled the connectors around to get some contact and it worked, i cant undo the blue slips on the wires, they lock i think

nah the clips can come apart, just pry up the clip tab.. or just break it off.. you will continue to have problems unless you get rid of those stupid wire taps.
