Well i bought the SLP Fan Switch for my trans am. Well it took me about a hour to install it but it was so worth it. Now i don't have to worry about been stuck in traffic in the summer heat.

Nice, you didn't have to "ahck" any wiring? Didn't know they amde a specific aftermarket switch, learn something new everyday :)

Yeah i had to hack my wiring harness on my 89 camaro but i decided to do it a more professional way. Yeah my car wouldn't over heat normally but when i was stuck in traffic in a 100+ weather it would get mighty toasty. Now i don't have to worry about that. I've noticed it's a little better on the throttle response when i keep the engine cool.

meh... custom tuning for the fans to come on sooner and I've never had any problem. And no my fan motors have not had any problems either (I know someone's thinking it)

All true, but a 93 OBD I don't think has a provision for 'tuning' the fan on/off temp.
