Any special tips on replacing the water pump on my 95 Blazer that anyone could share? I see that I'll have to remove the 4 bolts from the fan..anything I'll have to watch out for? There is a note on the frame stating there are air bag sensors in front of the radiator. Will this be a problem when doing this repair?
Thanks

The only thing that may present a problem, if you're not familiar with it, is removing the fan clutch. The large nut on the fan clutch unscrews from the water pump shaft. The fan and clutch are removed as a unit. Rent, or buy the tool from Advance or AutoZone. Check out this thread, it says 96 and newer but 95 is very similar:

Another tip is to either remove the radiator, or put a piece of 1/4" plywood over it, to protect it during the water pump replacement. Post back when you’re done and let us know how it went.

My late in the year '95 model doesn't have the large nut on the fan clutch which unscrews from the water pump shaft. On mine it just has the 4 old fashioned 7/16 bolts that hold the fan and fan clutch on.
Best to check before running and buying the special wrench.
No need to remove the radiator, as I recall I think the top half of the radiator shroud is removable, which is a plus in giving you room to work. Either that or the whole shroud comes out, I can't remember.

Disconnect your negative cable for 10mins before starting the work.(Leave it disconnected) Note: If you have a radio with anti-thief code, know the code before you disconnect.

The '95 did not have the single shaft connecting the clutch/fan to the pump, it had the 4 studs, withthe bolts, just like DelCoch said.
