I am having the same symptoms with my 99, 3.8 liter. runs okay for 10 minutes when it's cold and after that, you may be able to get it to run at 2500/3500 rpm but that's about it. I thought I did a post on this yesterday, however I can not find it, nor did I see your post. My scantool stopped communicating yesterday afternoon so I am unable to determine if I have any codes however the SES stays off. I did see a P0141 which is related to the heated oxygen sensor #2 after the catylitic converter. My scantool is PC based so I am going to drag my desktop out tomorrow and see if I can get any more info from it. Seems like we need to know which sensors are overridden until the engine is at operating temperature since it seems to idle fine until then.

I moved your post to a new thread. We are having server/database problems with posting to include looking up old post history.

I wish you luck, and if you get anywhere with your car let me know. Sounds like we have very similar problems. I cleaned, iac, maf, and egr as well as i can. New fuel filter in, new plugs, and wires, and the car no longer throws the misfire code. Next thing im gonna do is try and drain the gas to see if i have bad gas. Good luck, Chris

I replied to the "Have you seen this part" thread and ended up here.
Anyway, the MAF sensor appears to be my problem. Started the car to let it warm up and to try and get my scan tool operating. It ran fine for ten minutes and then stalled and would not run. I disconnected the MAF sensor and restarted it and it ran okay. Reconnected the MAF and it stalled out again. Took it around the block with MAF disconnected and it seems fine.
Still can't get my AutoEnginuity to talk to my computer.
Thanks to all who suggested that and other checkfors.
