After reading some reviews of the BA Falcon (Yes I managed to get past the somewhat EA/EB looking front end)
I'd have to say Suck on this Holden

I think I'll reserve judgement until I driven and viewed both cars.
The VT/VX Commodores were a great sales success and the Coupe/Monaro is an aspirational vehicle. On the other hand, the BA Falcon has some significant tangible changes (new IRS systems and drivetrains) but it needs to make some significant improvements if it expects to catch up from the disasterous AU programme.
And it will be interesting to compare the Prodrive FPV cars against the TWR HSV cars - neither Dave Richards nor Tom Walkinshaw are mugs (and they are great rivals elsewhere) and neither wants their respective organisations to get wiped cleaned by the other...
The only problem is the bloody things are starting to get decidely exxy of late and the Holden SV8 is part of the response to this but the Y Series pricing is gradually pushing BMW territory pricing...
At this stage the Falcon XR6T could be the performance bargain out of the two ranges but it ain't cheap either...
