how much psi can a stock 1g dsm turbo hold? considering everything else is stock too.

Are you talkin about how much pressure the motor will hold or how much pressure the turbo will actually make?

This is pretty open ended question man and no offense, but the wording makes me believe you dont know what you are talking about. Stock is good enough for you until you gain a better understanding of how a turbo car works and how to mod one.

Hence why I asked him in the proper terms of which he meant. lol
I might as well answer both ways though...
If you mean how much will the motor handle, then it all really depends upon what kind of shape the motor is in. If you try to run too much boost you'll run into the problem of running it too lean because the pump will be too blah (for a better lack of a term) for it to give it as much fuel as it needs/wants. The injectors could be old and blah as well. The headgasket might not handle the boost, along with many other seals.
Now if you mean how much the turbo will make, then it also depends on the condition of the tubro. If its old and worn out then it will have a harder time making more boost. I have seen 14b turbos range anywhere from 12-20psi... It all depends on the condition of it...
Of course your not gonna run anything more than 16 or 17psi without having the necessary mods to tune it and such. (larger fuel pump/injectors, afc, 3" exhaust, etc...)
