Other than the dealer is there a place to buy the door hinge repair kit for both lower and upper hinges for the passenger side door?

Thanks

A company called Florida Auto Fastener always sells them on eBay for about $8.00 per door, plus shipping. That's where I bought mine and was pleased with the quality.

If all you need are the pins and bushings, you can use Dorman p/n38419, available almost anywhere.

I have a 2002 and the door is aligned when it is closed and latched but when it's closing it is hanging too low (like 1/4") like it is out of alignment. Dealer said it was door hinges and would cost $200 to fix. The problem I have is there isn't any play in the hinge like it is worn out as far as I can tell. Is the dealer right (I hate this dealer but it's the only one within a 1/2 hour of my house) that a worn out hinge won't show any obvious play? Bought the Blazer used and I don't recall this issue when I got it, but now about 3 years later it's really obvious (and annoying). If I get the parts is the hinge easy to replace, are there any special tools, tricks, tip, etc.... Thanks for any help you can give me!!!

Open the door about 5" from the latch, grasp the rear edge of the door with both hands and rock it up and down. You'll feel movement if the pins/bushings are worn. There is an excellent thread in the Blazer "How to" section, (with pictures) for replacing the pins and bushings. As mentioned, parts are available at most auto parts stores. Remember to lube them at each oil change and they won't squeek, and they will last longer.
