Got some paint on my RoG Ferrari F430 "Miami Vice Movie Car" today. Hoping to be able to get it cleared tonight.
Cobra Colors Grigio Silverstone Metallic.
I spent extra time on prep and prime. The results were unbelievable to me. I used a fraction of the paint I normally use.
Badger 175 w/medium tip was used for spraying.
Anyway, should have this done by next month this time.

Lots of metallic in this paint. So much so that I plan on skipping the light wet-sanding before clear. So far it appears that I have no orange peel. Tough color to spray I might add.
I'd like to add that I'm not real big on wip threads, but if I get pics I'll post them.

Nice color there. I do agree with you that Metallic paints are not easy to spray especially those on a silver shades either light or dark. I will be looking out for more WIP pics and complete pics. Keep up the good work there!

Nice paint! I too found that I use very little of the Cobra Color paint to cover a typical car body: 3/4 Oz of thinned paint for 6 full layers.

Thanks guys! I have one more coat of clear to apply and off to polishing it out. I must re-iterate, this is a hard color to paint, but it looks stunning.
The colors depending on the light shift from silver blue to gray and black. I'll hope to have more photo's by weeks end.
Thanks for the encouragement.
