how long will a set of airbags last?

i wouldn't even waste my money on air bags. get the air pistons, a good amount more $ but they'll last for a long time. My friend had air-ride(bags) and they all blew out simultaneously at 40 mph. all you could see were sparks out all windows. It was SCARY shit. all four tires blew out after the body dropped to the ground the under carriage got wrecked and his rims bent

oh yeah, it's hilarious in hindsight. i'm surpirsed it didn't make it on TV's best of the worst drivers. if someone had had a camera we'd be famous.

he had them in a chevy s10. they lasted 6 months, +/- a month.

nope. they were probably under-inflated or over inflated and he hit a hard bump

i dont think u can hop a car with air bags, they probably cant take the impact of the car, they are just 4 show, if u wanna hop get hydros.

i wasnt wantin to make a hopy car, i think that jus looks shitty. but wat would cause all 4 bags to blow like that so fast? jus shitty bags, installed wrong, or wat
