My 2002 Liberty is approaching the mfg. recommended 5 year coolant flush. Do I need to be concerned with replacing the coolant thermostat and hoses also?

If the hoses are in good shape you don't have to, but it would be a good idea to change them. If the thermostat is still working the way it should, there is no reason to change it.
