Those photo's are amazing. You have literally taken my breath away.

Do you have any high resolution images - I'd like to use some of them as Desktop Wallpaper - with your permission of course.

The lines in your cathedral picture are stunning.

I would really like a high resolution shot of the second one for my 1440 x 900 desktop. Something really great to look at everyday.

sorry, been a bit busy of late. most of the pix are here: http://zzpza.deviantart.com/gallery

if you can't find the one you're after or it's too small (dA recently changed their uploader, so most of the new ones are a bit small for wall paper) drop me an email / pm and i'll dig out the full res version :D

all the pix were taken with canon digital cameras. either a g5, 10d or 5d. but very few of the pix are impossible to do with a good point and shoot or entry level dSLR. the most important part in most of my work is the camera support, usually a tripod.

Definitely a Prelude. Still, 5D. Must be nice. Can't wait to switch to FF in a year. What kinda glass are you shooting with? I know it must be the nice glass!!! *hint hint wink wink*

a mixture really. most with the 17-40f4L, but a few using the 28-135is also the 50mm prime with extension tubes for all the macro work. the bridge and the lake were taken with the g5 using the wide angle converter.

Nifty Fifty or 1.4???

Which were the 17-40?? Just wondering how the F4 does, like in that church.

macros were taken with the stock 50mm f1.8 prime £/$50 lens and a set of cheap-ass extension tubes.

out of the ones i've posted here, only the mountain and the cathedral were with the 17-40f4L. although most of the recent ones on dA were taken with it.

actually, i find it very good for available light shots. but then i have pretty steady hands. this was handheld at 1/3rd of a second with the 17-40f4L http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/51747920/ and this was a 1/5th again with the 17-40f4L http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/53859147/

So how did you get the picture of the car? Some kind of rig?

all my moving car pix were either external vacuum mount, custom mount to car towing eye or just plain sticking a tripod out the window. :) :grinyes:
