Trunk Lock Replacement

I just purchased a trunk to replace my scratched up one, and did the installation myself. Only problem is I have no idea how to take off the lock to replace it with the one I had, so I was forced to leave it the way it is, but I wont be able to open my trunk with my keys. The Chiltons guide is useless on this issue, so I was wondering if any of you have ever done this or if you knew any sites that can describe this process. thanks:disappoin

My Haynes manual is gonna help you out a bit on this one, Pat.
1.)Disconnect trunk latch-to-lock cylinder cable from lock cylinder..
How?
I'll quote my manual: "Use two hook tools to spread the two plastic tabs while pulling on the lock cylinder cable end until it releases from the back of the lock cylinder."
2.)From trunk [inside] side of trunk lid, remove the nuts that retain pass. side exterior trunk lid trim. Remove exterior trim.
3.)From exterior, drill out two rivets retaining lock cylinder.
Installation is the reverse of removal. Go to the hardware store to buy bolts and locking nuts/nuts with lock washers to secure old lock cylinder to new trunk lid.
