headlights?

Can anybody tell me why a set of hatch/CRX headlights dont fit into the sedan? The guys at the junkyards I go to keep tellin me they will fit but I'm figuring they are just dumb rednecks, I've heard they dont fit and I just want to confirm this.

NOOO, the height of the hatch and crx lights are taller, on 4doors, they are a lil narrower, so, its not even worth modifying them to fit...... because it will take a lot of time and useless effort......

I knew there was a reason but I couldn't remember it.

take one of your headlights down to the junkyard, and compare it with the ones they got. If it looks like it'd fit, buy the hatch/crx ones and see how the line up in your car... If that doesn't work, you could probably return them to the junkyard.

I found a EX I'm trying to get the front clip off of but I'm afraid I'll not be able to come up with enough to get what I need and I'll miss out on it.
