1994 3000GT Transmission Shift Problems

Just replaced the clutch on a 1994 3000GT and after re-installing the transmission it won’t shift into 3-4-5 or R. I disconnected the shift cables at the transmission and tried to manually move the shift levers but the inner lever won’t move up enough to shift into R and it won’t shift into 3 or 4. When I move the inner lever down it will shift into 1 or 2 but that’s it. Any ideas on what could be causing this problem?
