1992 brake light trouble

I need to help a friend troubleshoot brake lights on their 1992 Toyota Camry. They have checked that infamous yellow box, and feel that it could be something related(?) to that. Help!:banghead:

Look down thru this thread, there is some good info on fixing what sounds like your problem. Never run into it myself.
