Was doing the first service on this car since i got it (10,000 miles ago, yeah, i know, too long). Changed the oil and the oil filter, and planned on changing the fuel filter, but the dumbass who owned it before me put fscking glue on the fscking threads on the fuel line where it screws into the filter. Who the hell glues the filter to the line, these are meant to be fscking temporary.

That sucks, but 10,000 MILES? Damn dude, that's beyond lazy or no time to do it.... LMAO that's a woman's maintenance schedule... Once the engine explodes and falls out the bottom of the car THEN take it to the shop and have the oil changed.

I would have to agree with Earls Fat because the fuel filter is the last of your wories with a ten thousand mile oil service interval your engine will be toast in no-time.

Well, i think it was thread lock. I finally got pissed and threw my weight at that wrench and it came loose. I usually service it every 3-4,000 miles but i've been really busy lately. It's nice now, it starts quicker and seems to have woken up.

Whatever you say, Mr. Goodwrench. I sold mine, and it never gave me any problems at all. I have no nads, but I'm sure you'll be tucking back yours when you go bankrupt.

Well... I wouldn't say Goodwrench... I wouldn't say Badwrench either... Let's just go with.... Jim. MR Jim to you ladies. Especially the 99.9% of you ladies who wait until the car won't start to tell your man that it's now 50,000 miles overdue on an oil change.

Anyhoo... I'm going to spend a little more than I had anticipated, but not bankruptcy. I'm guessing by the time I get the interior the way I want it... Maybe $2,000 - including tools, mind you. And I have MOST of that set aside now. Sooooo :flipa: :smooch: .

Why'd you sell yours? Didn't you only have it for about a month?
