Hey guys, I was browsing for an ebay intercooler on ebay... I noticed that there are a lot of kits for the 95-99, but I have a 1g. How much hassle do you think would be involved in making the 2g kit work in the 1g? Thanks.

There are deffinatly kits for 1gs too. A bunch of us on dsmtuners bought a group buy from ssautochrome. I know they make 1g kits too so try looking them up.

In my opinion after doing the front mount install, get a nice core and then just buy a bunch of piping. Most of the kits wont fit jperfect anyways so routing your own pipes and getting a flange welded on would be a good thing

Here you go, the longest ebay FMIC tread relating to DSM's on the planet. This should keep you busy for about a week :)

Some people have reported this but I and many others around my area have never had any problems with their headers or intercoolers... Now their turbos, I donno if I would trust such an important component...

I have heard nothing but good things about the SSautochrome FMIC. The only thing I hear, is that they are missing something like 2 t-bolt clamps, and you have to cut a pipe 2 inches or something like that. Well worth the money IMHO however.
