Bugatti EB 16.4 Veyron in 1:24

Hi,

after reading some tests and looking at some videos I was fascinated of the new Bugatti. It became a "must have"-model.

As no news about this car as a static model could be heard from Nürnberg (toy-fair), I decided to buy the Autoart slot model.

I just removed the grinders and this is what you get (all mesh is etched, figures are included).

Usually slotters use static models to make them move, here it is the other way around.

Fixed!!! Wow!! These have interiors! Awsome! I send Auto Art an email, a while ago, asking about the slot cars. They said they were "due out soon' and that was all. How does it compare in scale to other 1:24ths? They have some really interesting subjects in their slot car line. Where did you get this?

Hi Frank,

I got my model from www.automobilminiaturen.de .

The model seems to be absolutely correct in scale and size, I havenīt measured yet. The owner of automobilminiaturen also showed me the Autoart Ford GT. This seems to be the better model compared to the AMT/ Ertl kit. The Autoart modelīs side windows are a little bit higher and look more correct.

Iīll look for some photos of both Ford GT models.

A definite must-have :sunglasse

I hope they continue w/that series, they have an awful lot of 1/24 stuff that's been pending for a couple years, but so far only a small handful have come out. First a Gallardo, then a WRC Scooby, then a Murcielago Spyder, the Ford GT, and now this. Let's hope they do the Porsche 996's and 997's they've promised, since they also seem to be ignored by the model co's.

Have some of you guys seen the Top Gear episode with the Bugatti? That came from Germany and I saw it in real life, the sound is so amazing. :)

Hi,

no idea, why the thread is here. It is a plastic model, not a diecast.

Gosh! What a great car!
Why, oh why isn't this available in kit form?? :banghead: grrrr!!!

Micha, I suggest you take it to pieces, strip it, re-paint it and put it back together again even better than it seems to be now :D
