Do you think Apple will...

Refund my money to me after having the following problems in the 7 months I have owned my machine?
-Failed hard disk 1.5 months into ownership
-Failed battery 4 months into ownership
-Failed Keyboard (10 Keys) 6 months into ownership
-Failed Charging board 6 months into ownership
-Failed CD/DVD drive 7 months into ownership (just last weekend)
-Failed Hard disk (yes, again, just tonight) 7 months into ownership
I have never been more displeased with a product in my life. I would prefer to have my money back so that I can purchase from another company, but will take a new machine if it's the only top option.
What do you all think?
I plan on calling them and sending a letter in the mail regarding my issues. The CD/DVD drive issue and hard disk issue have not been addressed by their repair staff because they have happened in the last week and I really don't have the time or gas money to drive 2 and a half hours to an Apple store.
I'm never, EVER, EVER buying another Apple computer as long as I live. I should have just paid for the Dell and been done with it. Now I may lose pictures I can never get back, lose papers that I was going to keep for professional use, lose all the music on my computer and be without a computer until this issue is resolved.
I'm going to lobby long and hard to tell everyone I can to never buy from Apple if they do not take care of this.

I am not up on PC's but if it was a car or truck it would fall under the lemon law.
Read your warranty fine print and Give Apple a try on fixing or replacing it.
If no help run a search and check you state's consumer laws.
Good luck

Just a note...don't think Dell uses so much more reliable hardware either. They use the cheapest parts they can get their hands on.
As to your problem, have you spoken to a manager and documented all the problems you have had since the purchase? As far as I know, Apple has a very good warranty plan and try to stand behind their products. Most likely you won't get a refund after 7 months though, they will just keep replacing parts or if it gets too excessive they may replace the computer.
Also, everyone should have some form of backup media to store things like pictures, music, etc. because things can happen, like in your situation. An external hard drive would do you wonders.

With that many problems it might pay to check out your electrical supply.
Voltage into house and to pc.
Any voltage spikes or low voltage or surges or blackouts or electrical storms?
Any other problems with other household electrical stuff in last year?
Are you using a power supply on pc?
Proper shut down on turn off and power down when unplugging and plugging or changing mice and other stuff on pc?
Has the pc power supply been checked out?
Good luck with the repair or replace and let us know how it goes.

I think if you took the time to write a letter with all your problems and everything they should refund your money. I hate apples anyway and would never by one. That is why I have had my trusty HP and Dell that have yet to ever fail on me.

^^ Actually I have seen quite a few people have a lot of good luck with Dell. It can only get better from the Apple he had.

You'll probably find they'll do everything they can not to replace it.
If it was me, I would write into the Readers section of a local computer magazine explaining all the things that have gone wrong, and that Apple don't want to replace it for you.
As soon as their PR manager finds out it could be going ti print, you might find yourself with a replacement computer.

Wow that really sucks. I've never seen or heard any complaints from people that i know who uses Apple machines. So much for that. That letter to a magazine is a good idea. After all, what better way than the mass media to get a corporation's attention?

I get's better folks. They're also replacing my LCD screen because of some unnatural white splotches that we noticed - 4 to be exact - while at the store. After I get this thing back, the only thing that won't have been replaced since I bought it are the speakers, processor, fan and sticks of ram.

Atleast they are taking care of you. Most manufactuers require a certain number of dead pixels before they even snort at the idea of replacing the LCD.
