Hi Guys,
My 89 crx front bumper just got side swiped! :banghead: Anyhow, I found a bumper from the junkyard but it's coming from a 90 CRX. Will it fit my 89? They selling it for $120.00 and it's the only one I can find. Is it worth it?

No, it should bolt up. Seriously, $120 is a rip off. Is that for a complete bumper or just a cover? You can order a new bumper cover from Honda for like 140 or something. Are you in the san fernando valley? The junkyards there are way too overpriced. I'd say look on craigslist or hondamarketplace for better deals.

CRXperiment, Thank you for your input. Yes I am, from san fernando valley and the junk yards here sucks balls. I made up my mind, I'm not gonna get that one for $120.00. Thought the dealer still has some in stock considering they have had it since 89 (damn they keep old shit) lol...Anyways they are charging me $247.00 I know thats a lot but I might just bite on it. At least I know I will have a piece of mind knowing it fits and it will be new. I do plan on keeping my crx that's been sitting for about a year now.

If you just got side swiped, I'd imagine that you only want a new bumper cover, not the whole thing (support, lights, etc.)

The front bumper cover only costs $135 OEM. I can't imagine how those backward jyards would charge 120.

No problem. Also, if you don't want to deal with shipping and handling costs call Robertson Honda in burbank and tell them you own a shop, they'll sell you whatever you want for wholesale prices with no shipping.
