Escort GT Engine swap

Hey guys i just bought a 91 Escort GT and i wanted some opinions on a 4G63t swap and making it all wheel drive. Not positve it will work so hit me up with any ideas. I just want a sleeper from hell and i dont trust american engines worth a crap and dont try to tell me to put a honda engine in it either. THX guys
