could anyone tell me where the keypad number is located for the driver door, the previous owner must have kept the card that was included with the manual

My best suggestion is having your local dealer "slim jim" the door and re-program it for you.

I just bought an 04 and had the same problem and the dealer took it to the mechanic and came back with my code for the door. Thye did look around the inside of the glove box but there was nothing there. Taking in it might be the quickest thing to do.

The dealership pulled the code from the computer for me, but they also told me that the code is located behind the upper part of the back seat.

My dealer told me it's not printed on the vehicles after ? year. My 04 came with the card. My 99 has it printed on the Comp. chip cover. You'll have to get the code from the manufacturer.

to find your code look up under the dash, under steering wheel. there will be a gray box with a bunch of wires pluged into it. your number is the largest 5 digit number printed on the white sticker. you may have to unbolt it to read it and turn it. dont unplug it your alarm will go off.

to find your code look up under the dash(under the steering wheel) there will be a gray box with a bunch of wires pluged into it, this is your keyless entry electronics. your code is the larges 5 digit number printed on the white sticker you may have to unbolt it and turn it around to read it. dont unplug it your alarm will go off. if you do just turn your ignition on to turn it off.
