I recently bought a 95 Celica ST with 160K miles. Thought I would change the plugs. How hard is it and any advice for a novice mech?

Welcome to AF.
Sorry wrong forum (Pontiac Grand Prix) since you are referring to a Toyota Celica. Just so you get the right advice applicable to your car I have moved your post to the Celica forum.

IMO platinum spark plugs are much much better then irridium spark plugs...I have tried just about every version of spark plug available and get the best results from NGK platinum plugs.

hi,
plugs not hard to change, might as well change wires, distributor cp and rotor, air filter, all easy!! need simple hand tools and socket set!
