i was just wondering about the alternator assembly in regards to attachment to the engine. To be specific, i am left with a washer and really have no clue as to where i should put it. I've taken the alternator out of my 94' grand prix twice in one month. I have the spacer placement and all that stuff set, but there is one washer that i am not too sure about its origin. If someone could please let me know if this washer even came from taking out my alternator i would be most appreciative.

Welcome to AF.
Sorry but you are going to have to do something about your member name. Technically that is not an acceptable member name and may cause problems with other AF members, epecially at the Grand Prix forum that may be offended by it.
You can post a thread at this forum and request a name change.

Or I can address the issue to AF Admin on your behalf. Another option is for you to open a new AF account with a more befitting name and I can terminate the old account. Let me know as soon as possible.

Your um...interesting... name aside...
There's a lock washer (has a split in the washer) on the stud where the large red electrical cable is attached. Cable, washer, then nut.
That aside, I'm not sure about any other washers.
