Hi my gauge fuse and back light keep burning it ( my headlight still work ). Its use 15amp fuse, then I put in a 30amp fuse, and it still burn ( it work for about 1 mile then it burn off ), I think this happent after I install the radio, I just take the radio out then put in another 30amp fuse, turn on the headlight, all the light is work but I saw smoke coming out the fuse I just put in ( I think it about to burn too ), any ideal ? thanks

yes, the reason a fuse is there is to keep your wires from drawing too much current. the reason you keep burning them is most likely because you have grounded one of your wires. now, whenever you turn your car on, it free-flows current, hence drawing too much current. an excessive amount of current will overheat your wires, and cause more of them to short out.
i'd advise against using any amp fuse over one size bigger than the one it came with from the factory.
what you need to do is either:
find the wire that is shorting out.
or re-wire the whole thing to ensure it isnt' going to happen again.
i'm not saying it is for sure your problem, but if it happened after you changed something, then go back and change back whatever you broke.

I really dont know which wire is shorting it out. I did every thing back to normal, put back the factory radio or take it out, and it still blow fuse. im even use 30amp fuse instead 15amp fuse, it take some time before it blow, I saw smoke coming out of it, then I take it out and the fuse is really hot. I really dont know any option.

if there was smoke coming out of it in my car i would definantly take it somewhere and get it checked out before my car gets set a blaze from some faulty wiring.

Never, ever put in a higher amperage fuse than what was there stock. The reason is that you want the fuse to blow before the wiring melts, which is what happened when you saw the smoke. You could have a much worse problem than you did before.
You are going to have to go back over your wiring very carefully since you have a short somewhere. Have you done any electrical work on the car, or did this just randomly start?

What was wrong? Was it a short to ground?
