Looks very interesting...!

For Tamiya 1/24 kit - no price info attached. Shouldn't be more than a couple of hundred dollars I guess ;-)

Looks like a nice transkit, might try it one day but im not a fan of spending how ever much one a transkit, to pricey for someone who is still in school!

I am in, that looks great. I have their first gen CS Trans kit , and the resin in it sucks @$$! I really am still bitter about paying for that one. Maybe they have gotten better at resin quality.

I have installed two of their CS kits with no trouble at all.

This looks great. I'm getting one - I wanted to build this car for a long time. Museum Collection transkit is out of reach, this is perfect replacement.

Nice - Will be on the lookout for this one.....
Now, if anyone in the industry is watching, how about a transkit for a 288 GTO Evoluzione - possibly based on an F40 ?
The F50GT was a one off car that has spawned several transkits - There were 5 GTO Evo's built, so on that basis we should have had 10 or 15 different transkits to choose from by now :-)

It shure looks good.
I really want one.
I´m surprised that not many of the great builders here have done their own. There was an article on how to do this in MRM several years ago and it should not be that hard for many on this list.
Now lets just hope that it won´t be that expensive

I just got an email from Daniel at Hobbyeasy. Transkits are delayed due to problems with decals. They should be shipped on or before April 15th.

I'm guessing instrument gauges, emblems, badges, etc
He said it was a small decal sheet. Let me see if I can find his email.

Ok, I just wanted to post a little review here since I got the kit yesterday. Honestly, not very impressed, and even disappointed a little bit. Its not a bad transkit, and obviously has a potential, but the quality and execution is just not worth the $$ in my opinion.
Packaging and instructions are very nice and clear:
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y154/jter/MSMF50GT01.jpg
Castings are made from light color resin (which is a plus), fit good and look nice from a far....
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y154/jter/MSMF50GT02.jpg
...but at closer inspection they reveal a lot of flaws....
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y154/jter/MSMF50GT03.jpg
Resin is full of tiny bubbles, and thin edges are all messed up...
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y154/jter/MSMF50GT04.jpg
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y154/jter/MSMF50GT05.jpg
Mods that were made to original tamiya kit were made kinda sloppy, messy even. And you simply can't make the engine lid removable without a lot of work - look at the thickness of that thing!
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y154/jter/MSMF50GT06.jpg
Tires, P/E, and decals are all nice and high quality stuff:
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y154/jter/MSMF50GT07.jpg
the rest of the parts are more or less ok, rear bumber is a bit of a mess too, but most castings are clean and nice.
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y154/jter/MSMF50GT08.jpg
My copy is missing roll bar though.
Overall, its better than nothing, but for the quality, it should be cheaper. My 2 cents.
Alex

I still looks better than the one I have by Scale Production. It would need a lot of correcting too.

I get what you're saying about those sloppy modifications, with a crapload of excess where nobody can see it... although, i think if you're going to have it cast, you could atleast clean it up, no?
but overall it looks like a decent kit, albeit lotsa cleaning up to do, eh!
Good luck to the builders of this puppy, i m sitting back and relaxing!
