Driver Information System-90 Cutless Sup

Does anyone know how to disconnect this? I have a 1990 Old Cutless Supreme with the Driver Informaton System. It seems to have grown a mind of its own and no longer functions properly, numbers are continually changing. That I can live with, however it is now beeping constantly (non-stop when the car is on) and it is driving me absolutely crazy. If I pull the fuse I lose my dash board electronics. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You cannot seperate the dash functions from the dic functions.

Just unplug it. There are two harnesses behind the DIS.
