I have an ABS code 14 on a 1995 Firebird LT1. Anybody know what might be the culprit? I already checked the fuses and relay?
Thanks,
Randy

Are you certain it's a '14' error code? AFAIK, the 4th-gen F-cars used the Delco ABS-VI system - Is that what you have?
Did you merely inspect the Enable relay, or measure voltages to and from the power contacts?

Thanks for the reply, sorry it took so long to get back to you I have a sick kid.
Yes, I am sure its a DTC 14, Enable relay contact circuit open, I had a trusted shop pull the codes and that's what they came up with.
I have a set of factory service manuals and they walk you through troubleshooting this code and my book is for a 95 Firebird so I'm sure this is right(only covers 1995).
What I have done so far is test the relay resistance between #85 and #86 terminals, and the outcome was 80 ohms. Book says the spec is under 95 ohms.
The next step in the book is to check the resistance between terminal B3 of the 32-way EBTCM harness and terminal C5 of the ABS enable relay harness connector. Only problem is getting to the EBTCM harness, man its packed up under the dash! I can see the harness plug I need to remove, but getting to it is a different matter. That's what I working on now.
