or if you guys could point me towards a headunit that is set up for bluetooth without any extra parts.. you see this one is alll set to go... but i cant find specs on it yet..

It's your call man, but that seems awefully cheap for a fully independant Bluetooth setup, plus, it looks like a rip-off of the Alpine that I have in my car right now. Couldnt find any specs for that company online either. I'd stay away :(

Dont they sell amps made by them at wal-mart? I think I have seen that logo before. The guy I talked to said they have been around since 1996.

If you hadn't noticed, that's where everything is made. Choose any big name manufacturer of stereo equipment, it's going to be made overseas somewhere and most likely China.

After looking at this for a while, I wonder if someone would make one WITHOUT the CD, the slot there would be replaced with SD input, usb, memory stick (Sony, if they still use this), aux input and the such.
This would cut cost drasticly, make it lighter, less complexity and more room for the display... hmmmmm

I did say overseas, it's all the same. Japan isn't much better quality anymore, they still have underqualified people making these parts and putting them together. Ever have Sony electronics take a shit on you? Your lucky if you haven't.

What I ment by that was its kinda like buying the cheep ebay BOV that is made in china as opposed to buying the real thing that is made with better parts. I guess its just a matter of oppinion.
