help on 96 sho transmition

ive recently replaced my transmition and now it seams like the shifterlinkage needs ajusting--is that possable--wht i got is all the up gears like 1 3 5 all work but the down gears dont seam to go in like 2 4 and reverse seams like the shifter just isnt going far enough--any help????:banghead:

I am not 100% sure but i remeber reading somewhere that this cable/drive shaft is known to be defective. Look for sho parts on line and see what is being sold. Im sorry I am not much help. The part name that was faulty just escaped my brain. I will try to find it and get back to you. I know it was something along the lines of the trans.

What year is your SHO? The 1996 SHO was only available with an automatic transmission.
