hey u think it might be a head gasket problem i have, and its accelerating, but before it accelerated and doing all this i cleaned the throttle body, i took it to the caddy dealer they said it might be a throttle position sensor? does get damaged? but if i let them fix it..itll hurt my wallet!!


WAT U GUYS THINK I SHOULD DO?

What problem do you have? If it is the TPS a code should be stored. Places like AutoZone will read them free.

I have a high speed idle. Cant find the goddam problem!!:banghead:

Try cleaning the throttle bores and plates with a tooth brush and carb cleaner, then disconnect the battery for a minute or so then reconnect. Also check for binding in the throttle linkage.
