01 Jetta cloth interior, why the fuzz?

i've got an 01 Jetta with black cloth interior and it acts like a lint brush, picking up EVERY fuzzball & hair that gets within 10 feet of the car! i haven't found a great way to clean this off yet, other than using a lint roller. Does anyone have any better ideas? Please help, I can't stand having hairy seats like this!!!
