Cut a hole in your floor? Na man, this is an easy swap. D-series to d-series. The only thing you need to do is the mpfi wiring. Don't sweat it.

you know what i would do if i was you..and it might sound like a PITA but it isnt all that bad if u got time..is switch over the whole exterior/interior wiring harness..and all components..only thing that could be a bitch is installing the clutch assembly..i never did any auto-manual conversion but it cant be all that bad..

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh yess the clutch assembly. it sucks alot but what peopel dont do is drop the stearing column and it makes things so much easier. anyway. that is a good idea to swap the harnesses. i was originaly going to do this instead of wiring my old crx. but then 5 ebay harnesses later i decided i dident care and wired it up and it worked out great but since you have the complete matching harness i would just to it. swap it over.

ok i will keep that in mind who know i might be able to buy the whole car like the only reason my buddy bought the parts car is because he ran into a curb with the si he has now and bent the subframe to hell so he bought this parts car just to get the sub frame from it

Don't swap harnesses with an si, it won't match up to your interior harness and you'll create a big headache for yourself. Just to the mpfi wiring to your existing dx harness.
