88 Camry brake lights don't work

Thanks to the forum, we were able to diagnose the problem on our 88 Camry, as the lamp failure sensor. Before ANYONE goes to the dealer to spend almost $200 for this part, try your local junk(wrecking) yard. Call them before you go to even SEE if they have Camrys in stock with this part. It is call the lamp failure sensor Check this sensor out BEFORE you replace the stoplight switch, as this can be a BEAR to fix. It must match EXACTLY as the part you remove from your car, otherwise, it won't work! Size, color (that infamous yellow box), serial #. In the rear, in the trunk looking forward, driver's side, behind molded rug, about 2 feet from rear lights. Box is 3x3x1, and has 1 plug that snaps into the wall of the car.
