honda radio code

yeah i was working on a civic with that anit teft securtiy radio thing, stock radio. so now i need the code for the radio but i dont have it. is there anyway to get a new code without having to go to honda cause honda said theyll charge me $80 to get a new code. and i dont wanna pay that much

the reason why they want to charge $80 is cause they'll have to take the radio out and get the numbers from the bottom of the radio. if you take the radio out yourself than they won't charge anything. just write down all the numbers and your vin number, give them a call and they can find it in their computer.
