I have a 91 3000 GT SL Automatic, It has capacitors in the ECU Correct?
(I took my car to the Misiubishi Dealer and he has no Idea what I'm talking about. And I just want to make sure that the automatic has them.)
Thanks for the Help ^^

All ECU's have capacitors in them. The type of transmission of the car does not matter.
Are your capacitors leaking? I know its a problem in the 1st gens, and if you have to replace them, its a cheap fix. 3SX sells them

The capacitors in my TCU are leaking (well one is), does 3sx have replacements for those?

Ah. very different. Yes, only the automatics have TCU.
not sure where you can get replacements, but im pretty sure they're available. im sure someone else will post with the answer to that one.

You can find them locally at some shops that carry electronic gizmos too. If it has already leaked on to the board a bit it may be too late and your board will be fried meaning you need to get it rebuilt or buy a new one. Rebuilt is far cheaper though.

Open up your TCU and look to see what the charge capacity and the voltage rating of the capacitors are. The charge capacity will be in terms of Farads (F). Most likely it will be represented in microfarads (uF). Once you get both, go to a website like www.newark.com and look for the capacitor that you need, then order what you need.
