ok... ive had my '96 grand am gt for about 8 months... its full of problems, as it seems most of them are... but, most problems, i've handled w/o trouble... this one has me stumped though... the other day, my girl and i went out to eat... came back to my car... wouldnt start... i had 2 options... fuel delivery or that annoying "theft system/passlock ignition" i replaced the fuel filter and checked the throttle position sensor both are fully operational, as is the fuel pump... so i turned my attention to the theft lock... i reset it as ive seen in many other threads around the net, and i got it to start problem being, the "theft sys" light stayed on much to my dismay... i turned the car off and on a few times and the light went off... so i took it up the road... the car made a series of clicks in the area around behind the insturment cluster, and then a bunch of warning lights came on, including both 'abs' and 'brake' the 'theft sys' light was back on, the low coolant light among a few others i cant name off hand... this worried me so i let it sit a bit while i made some calls... i went back to it, and now it runs fine but the PNRDL indicator light flashes and scrolls randomly... what is my issue? (sry on the long post)

Sounds like your battery current was being lost , which wil make your dash flip out and the relays will click.
Any time the theft light comes on or flashes do the relearn procedure. Then see how long it takes for it to through the theft light again.
Also Have you checked for any trouble codes ?
Even though thier is no light, doesnt always mean thier wasnt something that may have triped a DTC.
Hope that helps.
