I use it to give a semi-gloss appearance to gloss paint that is too shiny (seats, chassis, etc) Hope this helps! Welcome to AF!

There is a thing called the back-space button ;)
But welcome to AF.
(Dull coat does exactly as the name suggests, dulls gloss coats):p

Dullcote is on of the few good things Testor's makes. I use it on Interior seats and any thing I want a nice flat over all appearance. I use it to seal and level Carbon Fiber decals and then a coat of semigloss by testor's over that. I wouldn't spray it from the can it is better to spray it into a jar and airbrush. It goes on really nice and invisible(not a painted on look)that way. It probably gets too thick from can.

Boy, isn't that the truth! It's the best way to tone down the gloss on an interior. It's also a great way to seal paint-if the interior is painted in acrylic, sealing it w/dullcote is a great way to add detail painted acrylics w/o damaging the paint underneath. I'm working on the Fisher Alfa Romeo BAT 5, I painted the seats/interior Tamiya Italian Red, and am using black wire for the seat piping. When it's all finished, I'll hit the parts w/airbrushed Dullcote, making everything look just like leather.
Great stuff.
