Did the dealer properly check the system out?
The code C0267 only indicates A PROBLEM IN THE PUMP MOTOR CIRCUIT.
Could be anything from bad wiring or connections or EBCM or BPMV or other related modules.
The pump motor is not in the EBCM.
The EBCM is the ABS /controller
Before replacing anything make sure they properly tested the pump motor and actually found it bad.

I have a '99 Silverado and my ABS pump went out several years back. The pump is still good, the control board that is mounted to the top of the pump went bad. I went to a salvage yard and bought a used pump for $400 and paid a local repair shop to replace the control board ($50). If you removed the pump from the truck, you'll have to be bleed the brake lines, which can be a fun time. And of course you need a GM tool to reach and remove the bolts that hold the control board on.

When my abs went screwy back in 2000, I went up to the dealership and got that big price tag to repair it. I told them I was just going to unplug it. They said I couldn't do that, but that was only 100,000 miles ago.

The four bolts that hold the EBCM to the ABS pump are steel and face upwards and rust. I had to cut mine off...and I replaced them with SS ones. I replaced both the EBCM and pump...contact Gavin at http://www.modulemaster.com/ and he will save you a lot of money and tell you how things work. If you just go to their website you can gets loads of info. Plus he sells the SS bolts for the EBCM!

2001, 5.3. I just sent my EBCM to www.modulemaster.com. Cost $150.00 to fix. If you can twist a wrench, you can remove the EBCM. I used a T 20 bit and ratcheting 1/4" wrench and removed the 4 bolts no problem. Follow the removal directions from the module master web site. It sure says a lot of money. They might work on pumps also. They give you a 5 year warrenty on there work.
