'99 Ram Keyless remote question

I have keyless remotes and they work fine. my question is around the lock and unlock function.
I have seen other remotes that chirp (horn) when it locks and flashes lights when it opens. Mine does not do this. My manual says the dealer has to configure it to work. Does anyone know if there is a procedure to program this functionality myself with out dealing with a dealer?

There is not and all Chrysler remotes have to programed with Chrysler's factory scan tool DRB III.Vetronix has recently come out with an update for their Mastertech scan tool to program Chrysler remotes.
