Title pretty much gives it away, but here's the story. I'm heading home from the gym on my day off, and some bastard kid who's obviously skipping school and cruising around with his friends in his illegitimate father's sixty thousand dollar e320 proves he probably skipped drivers ed. class as well, by swinging onto a 4 lane road, shooting through both lanes of opposing traffic, and hanging a left just in time to cut me off.

I lock up the brakes, bringing me down from my previous cruising speed of ~75 to 20mph just in time to prevent a really expensive accident. I look in my rearview and sure enough there isn't a single person behind me, so this prick could have waited for me to pass, before cutting me and both lanes of opposing traffic off. So now I'm pissed. He mashes the gas and catches to some trucks up ahead and begins to tailgate. I stay in 2nd and decide to let him know I'm pissed by extending a choice digit out the sunroof.

Following in 2nd, the trucks partially clear and this punk is off....or so he thought. I mashed the gas and almost take off his rear bumper. I have to keep letting off to not run right into the back of him...so I feather the gas keeping within a car or 2...my BOV going off left and right to let him know I'm still there.

Finally, both lanes clear and I floor it midway through 2nd, whipping out into the right lane. Tires are squealing like stuck pigs and I'm next to him for the briefest of moments. Declining on giving him the finger as I'm next to him, mostly because my 2-3 shift is coming on VERY fast, I give him a little smirk and leave him and his daddy's car behind.

I don't know if he let off, or if those things are the slowest creations Mercedes has handed down to man, but I might as well have been racing a civic, i had a few blocks on him by the time I looked back at a bit over 100. I let off for traffic, hung a left and went home to eat. Hopefully he drove his defeated and dejected self back to school.

Good kill on the annoying idiot. When are you going to get track times for your car?

When I can afford the track entrance fee.
Literally money is so ridiculously tight right now, I'm not even going out for my birthday this weekend.

Just got the new job, but gotta wait 3 weeks until I get my first paycheck. It sucks.

Congrats on the new job. I can't wait until you pay off the VR4. Whatever you do, keep it, as yours doesn't seem like a lemon (My Stealth was). Those cars are really comfortable, and pretty quick. Think they will go up in value someday.

If it's a new E320, then it's a $52,000 car, and V6 diesel powered.

A whopping 208hp. No wonder it was so easy to thrash.

But it gets 26/35mpg... not bad at all.

Unless it was a C230 sport sedan, those are only $30,000 with an insane 201hp.

LOL well that explains it. I'm putting down almost 100 more to the wheels than it is at the crank haha.

I dont know If I posted it but i ran one of the 201 hp'ed ones a while back. they guy picked the fight by reving at me and jumping the car forward. So I blow his doors off and he says "man thats not even fair, you got like 380 HP and I only have 190."
so I responded "actually I have 440 at the crank and you started it!" but then I gave him a thumbs up and told him to be safe.
