headlights activate rear wipers and washer

Help....when I turn on headlights to my jeep cherokee 2001 the rear window wiper and washer come on.

Are the controls on the same stalk? If so I'd suspect the stalk.

Otherwise, you will probably be looking for a short somewhere.

they have their own controls and only happens in extreme cold temperatures....
