Taurus-Driving Through High Water

Hello Taurus Friends,
I have owned two Ford Taurus's. When ever you hit a large puddle or have to drive through high water, the belts start "squeaking-chirping". I really hate this. I can calm them down with some belt dressing, but the noise can still be heard. Have any of you experienced this problem? And does anyone know how to erase the annoying "squeaking-chirping" form the serpentine belt?
Much Thanks, :banghead:

I'd suggest you check to make sure the splash shield is still in place. If it is, then I'd suggest you pick up a Duralast belt from Autozone (made by Kelly-Springfield) or a Gates belt. I've had good luck with Kelly-Springfield belts being consistently quiet. Not so much so with Dayco or Goodyear belts.
